ACTIVITY

Specialty "Information Technology Design" is a unique combination of computer and engineering disciplines, which allows you to get a comprehensive balanced education, gives you the opportunity to find work in enterprises of different profiles: in banks, state institutions, factories, enterprises, involved in software development at research institutes. Information technology design professionals are versatile professionals who are able to work in various industries and commercial structures that require the use of modern information technology. This leads to a constant increase in demand for these specialists in the labor market, which is why the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology is training professionals in the use of information technology, able to solve the issues of development, implementation and operation of information systems that are intended to support and exchange data in management systems for organizations and businesses in different industries.

PREADING

Trained professionals, in particular, provide the professional design, development, implementation and operation of CAD / CAM / CAE and PDM systems for high-tech enterprises. Students also receive training in basic engineering, programming, 3D design, computer networking and database administration, which greatly expands their scope of employment. In particular, students learn the methods of development of applied software systems of designing using modern information technologies; methods of designing and operating knowledge bases and databases; the use of methods and means of finding, obtaining, processing and using information through global and local telecommunication networks; creation of integrated systems of designing and modeling of special purpose with use of modern computer technologies; development and design of computer systems and networks; development and management of information resources.

Employments

Graduates of the specialty are employed as systems analysts, programmers, system administrators, IT management specialists in specialized IT departments involved in the support and development of modern information systems and technologies, work with modern computer systems of design and modeling in electronics and telecommunications (circuitry, design, manufacturing technology).
